I was able to create a much cleaner and reliable driveway to this property's pole barn by stripping the top layer of dirt off, grading it flat and putting down a healthy helping of asphalt millings. 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲? 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲!

It is a lot easier to get your toys and tools in and out of your one-stall garage or shed when it has its own driveway! I cut this driveway into the side of the yard and reshaped the existing hill. All the material was put into the yard to be spread out later. I put down GEO fabric to help with the Clay soils, then topped it with a 5-inch layer of asphalt millings.
