French Drain Trench

This homeowner had a problem with standing water that was running towards the house. This can happen with improper backfill at the time the house was built and property excavated. I dug a French drain trench, put drain tile in, covered that with pea stone, and then filled and resurfaced the area with soil. This should catch any surface water before running towards the house and give it a place to drain to away from the foundation.
